The Goddess' Trap

Went a little further outside the box for this piece. I haven't even played this old game, but the little knowledge I have about it, plus the interesting promotional art, gave me some ideas. Also was inspired by making some captions a while back that messed with the reader's perception. Ki's kind of an interesting character from what I've heard about the Tower of Druaga franchise. Her story arc is kind of convoluted and unintentionally funny. First she has to go up a monster infested tower armed with only her dodging reflexes to snatch a sacred weapon for her patron diety. Then she gets turned into a stature and has to wait for a knight (Gil) to unstatue her in a different game. Then in the third game she finally gets to use the sacred weapon she retrieved. Almost feels like the Goddess Ishtar was playfully trolling her. I'd like to think Ishtar acts towards Ki much like Palutena in Kid Icarus does towards Pit...helpful and caring, but in a weird roundabout way. Anyway, here's more o' my weirdness. XD
